Our favorite version of a classic BLT!

Ingredients

Italian bread

bacon

Miceli's Romano Cheese
shredded

mayonnaise

garlic
grated

teaspoon
lemon juice

teaspoon
mustard
⅛
teaspoon
sugar
⅛
teaspoon
salt
⅛
teaspoon
pepper
2
leaves
romaine lettuce
halved
2
heirloom tomatoes
sliced
2
avocados
sliced
Instructions
Set your broiler to high.
Add the bread to a baking sheet, and then let it broil for about 1 minute.
Add the bacon to a skillet over medium heat, let it cook for about 12 minutes, and then drain it.
Combine the Romano, mayonnaise, garlic, juice, mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Divide the lettuce between 4 slices of the bread, and then add the Romano mixture, tomatoes, avocados, and bacon.
Notes
The toothpick on top makes it official! You can toast your bread however you'd like.
